“New” does not mean paint-perfect. Whether correction is needed comes down to inspecting the actual paint — and getting the amount right, not maximum.
Sometimes, but not always — and new does not mean flawless. Every car is assessed first and corrected only where it needs it, then coated. The goal is never maximum correction, because correction removes clear coat and you only have so much of it.
A brand-new Tesla has often been transported, handled, and washed before you ever collect it — and that handling commonly leaves fine swirls and marring in the clear coat. It is not a fault with the car; it is the reality of how vehicles reach the customer. The important point is what happens next: a coating bonds over the top and locks in whatever is on the paint at that moment. Seal in swirls and they are there for the life of the coating.
Our coating process is deliberately ordered: assess, correct appropriately, then coat and protect. Before any graphene goes on, every car is inspected — with paint-depth readings taken where appropriate — so the correction matches the paint’s actual condition. That might mean very little on a near-flawless panel, a light single-stage enhancement, or a genuine multi-stage correction where the paint calls for it. Either way the principle holds: the coating is only ever as good as the surface underneath it, and the work is led by qualified paint specialists rather than applied as an automatic package.

Here is the principle most owners are never told: paint correction works by removing a very thin layer of clear coat to level out defects. Clear coat is finite. Correct too aggressively, or repeatedly over a car's life, and you thin the paint that protects the colour beneath. That is why we assess each car individually and correct what the paint actually needs — no more. On a genuinely clean new car that can be a light, single-stage enhancement; on a car with deeper defects it warrants more. Occasionally the honest answer is that very little is required.
Two identical cars off the same truck can need different work, so quoting correction sight-unseen is guesswork. We assess the paint, correct appropriately, and then apply NXTZEN graphene — Australian-designed and made for our UV and heat — for hydrophobic, easy-clean protection with warranties up to 12 years. The result is a finish that is genuinely corrected first, then protected, rather than a coating hiding marks underneath.
