Do you recommend tinting the roof panel on my Tesla?+
We may not always recommend tinting the glass roof panel and make recommendations on a case by case basis. It is important to note that Tesla’s factory glass already provides high UV and heat rejection. If you’re looking for maximum heat reduction, we recommend Roof PPF (Paint Protection Film) instead, which offers superior insulation while maintaining visibility
How long does the tint installation take?+
A full vehicle tint installation typically takes 5 hours, where as a half vehicle installation can take up to 2 hours
What can I expect post-service?+
After installation, you may notice small water bubbles or a hazy appearance—this is completely normal. The curing process can take up to 2 weeks depending on weather conditionsDuring this period:• Avoid rolling down your windows for at least 48 hours• Do not clean the inside of the windows for 3 days• Allow any residual moisture to evaporate naturally
Can I wash my car after tinting?+
Yes, you can wash the exterior of your car after tinting, you must avoid cleaning the inside of the windows for at least one week to allow the film to fully cureDuring this period:Avoid rolling down your windows for at least 48 hoursDo not clean the inside of the windows for 3 daysAllow any residual moisture to evaporate naturally

For the perfect balance of aesthetics, privacy and heat rejection we recommend:Front side windows: 35% VLT (legal limit)The rear side windows and rear glass panel do not require window tinting for the Model Y as these panels come with privacy glass from factory
